Reflexology….How it Can Help You!

Why I Chose Reflexology?

As an Integrative Health Coach here at Vibrant Life, LLC, my goal is to help bring about total body healing. Apart from teaching healthy eating/nutritional habits, exercise & lifestyle, reflexology is a POWERFUL way to help create balance & stimulate healing in your body. Maybe you have tried dieting, exercise, and more but still can't seem to bring it all together...this is one-way reflexology can help. Reflexology works to calm the central nervous system, which helps to reduce blockages, restore balance & stimulate healing in your body. During my sessions I utilize a variety of reflexology techniques from traditional reflexology, Thai reflexology, and hot stone reflexology as well as incorporate the use of essential oils, hot stones, warm oils and towels, music, affirmations, and/or guided meditations; techniques and skills which sets my sessions apart from most general reflexology practitioners and enables me to take the best of all three approaches to give you the most enjoyable, health-promoting, relaxing session I can!

Target These Problem Areas With Reflexology

Hormone Balance: A 60-minute session specifically targeted to help support hormonal balance, stress reduction, relaxation, stimulating circulation, calming the central nervous system, stimulating the immune system, and promoting an overall sense of well-being and improved mood. Reflexology is noted as one of the most sought-after & effective treatment methods for supporting hormonal balance in the body.

Plantar Fasciitis: A 60-minute intensive session that specifically works to relax and lengthen the fascia, improve blood flow & circulation to the inflamed fascial bands and tissues, and is beneficial because it stretches and relieves heel pain caused by plantar fasciitis. During this special massage treatment, ligaments and muscles of the foot are relaxed and loosened, in addition to the calf muscles. The entire lower leg and foot experience increased circulation, muscle relief, and improved flexibility. Those who routinely go for a reflexology session

generally experience less pain in the foot, heel, and lower leg and are better able to maintain full flexibility when doing daily activities.

Stress and Anxiety: A 60-minute session specifically targeted to bring about stress reduction, relaxation, calm the central nervous system, can result in better sleep, peace of mind, and less anxiety, and helps to improve mood and promote an overall sense of well-being.

Digestive Health: Mommas and Grandmas of years ago have often utilized reflexology to

help aid their children’s health in the area of digestion. Reflexology is a natural digestive aid that stimulates all the components of the digestive system from top to “bottom” and encourages those parts to work in better harmony with each other and in some cases to wake up and start moving! Reflexology is relaxing and that allows your internal organs to breathe and be able to work. Reflexology can be a great natural remedy for digestion problems!

Improve Sleep and Relaxation: Lack of sleep has serious effects on our brain's ability to function and many people sleep very lightly during restless nights, which can impair cognitive function the next day, make concentration more difficult, and shorten the attention span. Reflexology can help the body to relax and respond by releasing chemicals and brain signals to slow down muscles and organs and increase blood flow to the brain. This can lower the production of stress hormones, calm the central nervous system, & allow your body to be able to deeply relax & help to promote improved sleep.
